The Henehan Administrators, LLC, will provide COBRA Administrative Services to your company, which will comply with:

  1. The Department of Labor Model Notice of 1986 that notifies newly covered employees and their dependents of your company’s benefit plan(s).
  2. The COBRA notifications to employees and dependents (if an employee declines coverage, dependent notification is required) when a qualifying event occurs.
  3. Administration of COBRA coverage if the employee or dependent elects COBRA coverage. This includes notifications, premium payment schedules, billing and tracking of premiums, and corporate reporting of COBRA issues throughout the term of coverage.
  4. The Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) mandated certifications to individuals terminating from your company’s benefit plan(s). This occurs if the employee does not enroll in this continuation coverage or at the conclusion of their continuation coverage term, for up to two years after coverage was ended.
